Welcome back to the second episode of my colourful characters of christmas series, where I am delving into obscure legends that make the holidays so unique! This week I delve into the nature and behaviour of the Swedish version of father christmas, the Tomten. They are whimsical bearded folk to enjoy tending to the needs of their chosen farms, and ensure those who were well behaved throughout the year are well rewarded for their efforts.
