The battlefield was full of nightmares during the harrowing years of WW1. Many had no idea if their lungs would draw breath in the next hour. As we often hear, the horrors experiened on the Western Front were unlike any anyone should have to ever experience, but there was one particular battle that shook the participants to their very cores.
On the other side of Europe, right on the edge of the Eastern Front, the Germans were busy expanding their territory, but were met with a slight set back. The enemies they were encountering were rather difficult to kill. When one man fell, they seemed to rise again, taking up arms once more against the Imperial German Army. The Attack of the Dead Men, became notorious for defining just how gruesome and horrific war can truly be...
